Ракурс
Ракурс is one of the leaders in the Russian industrial automation market. The Company provides a full cycle of services for the creation of Automated Process Control Systems (APCS) for power plants, offering solutions for both hydropower and thermal power engineering. Its activities include R&D (Research and Development), design engineering, software development, equipment manufacturing, installation and commissioning, personnel training, and maintenance of automated process control systems throughout the life cycle.
In November 2018, based on cooperation with the Company, the University established a Laboratory for Cyberphysical Systems in the energy sector to conduct experimental research and test new developments in the field of mathematical and software automated control systems. The main task of the laboratory is to create a new generation of control systems, including risk-based monitoring and management systems in the energy sector, based on promising artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies. The laboratory presents a set of software and hardware modeling tools for an automated process control system for a hydroelectric power plant (HPP), which is designed to simulate the operation of a hydroelectric power station. Similar models are being created for other technical facilities in the field of energy. The laboratory is actively used in the educational process of the Higher School of Cyber-Physical Systems.
