ИНКОМСИСТЕМ
The Scientific and Engineering Center «ИНКОМСИСТЕМ» was established in 1991 on the basis of the Research and Production Association «Нефтепромавтоматика,» which, since 1959, had served as the leading organization of the USSR Ministry of Instrument Engineering in the field of automation for the oil and gas industry. The company is one of the largest system integrators in the Russian Federation and a strategic partner of oil & gas and petrochemical companies.
Today, the Company operates in five related areas: automated control systems, measurement systems and modular equipment, analytical systems, ABAK hardware-software computing systems, and metrology and service.
To train specialists and ensure the highest possible effectiveness of the educational process, the Scientific and Engineering Center “ИНКОМСИСТЕМ” equipped, on a gratuitous basis, a training classroom at the Higher School of Cyber-Physical Systems of SPbPU with laboratory stands based on ABAK programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and ABAK measurement and computing systems.
The classroom is used not only for student training, but also for participants of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) programs — employees of industrial enterprises. The CPE program enables participants to master both basic and advanced competencies in working with ABAK industrial controllers and ABAK measurement and computing systems.
